Love City Brewing Co. "Sure Shot"
$7 / pint on tap at the brewery on 23 May 2026
Look: A clear golden body is capped by a finger's width of white foam that holds well and leaves some decent lacing throughout the entire glass.
Smell: The aroma is mainly grainy with some grassiness and a light touch of subtle spiciness.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma, and this version appears to have a wheat component to it although I could be wrong, the maltiness is rich and grainy. There's a delicate fruitiness to it that's mainly apple like, and the grassiness in the nose remains. A stiff bitterness keeps it balanced and dry in the finish.
Feel: Medium bodied on the lower end and crisp with a standard carbonation level.
Overall: "Shure Shot" is probably named that for a reason. It's a solid Kölsch-style ale that's well brewed, checks all of the boxes for the style, and comes out quite drinkable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
