Our English-style brown ale was cold-steeped with 20 pounds of coffee with our neighbors at ELIXR coffee roasters. The caramel malt backbone balances perfectly with cold-brewed coffee flavor. Blends the best of both worlds: Beer & Coffee!

I tried this on tap at The Standard Tap in Philadelphia. It poured a clear brown with very thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of coffee and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and espresso highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

With cold steeped Elixir coffee

On draft at the brewery

medium brown in color, clear, cream colored head. nice pleasant coffee aroma. taste is a great balance of roasty coffee flavor and toffee malt flavor. medium bodied, smooth.
