Love Fest is our take on a traditional German-style Oktoberfest. In keeping with tradition, this beer is brewed with 100% German malt from Weyermann Malting in Munich. Notes of toasted bread, dark fruit & caramel, with a lightly sweet, clean finish.

Look: It is something in between a Märzen and a Festbier. If it is a Märzen, then it is a light-colored one. If it is a Festbier, it is a very full-bodied one. Either way, it is a beautiful looking beer: clear golden color, thick and lasting head, lacing that will probably need to scrubbed off the glass later
Smell: There is a light aroma of malt.
Taste: It is maltier and fuller bodied than most Oktoberfest beers. This is how I would imagine German beer used to taste. The hops balance the malt without being overbearing. Above all, this beer tastes fresh. MIne was brewed a little over a month ago - so, of course, it should taste fresh.
Feel: It feels like malt stays on the tongue until the secondary hops clears it.
Overall: I think this beer is a contender for world class status. I have never tasted a better Oktoberfest beer.
