Observing a full clear pint glass, drawn from a tap, this is slightly cloudy and reasonably bright amber in color. There's a very modest off-white head that appears to be enduring. The aroma is pleasantly soft, with just enough hops to let it be known that this is an ale. It drinks lightly and cleanly, without any big taste. Earthy melon/mango is there, but it doesn't overly sweeten. The hops are much more cutting than most lagers and many hazy styled IPAs. But, they don't bite hard, just enough to let you know they’re there. They do dry out and bitter the finish nicely. The body may not be close to exceptional, but it's better than passable. Same with the glass lacing. The fruit inclusion pushes the maximum for true IPA lovers, but it shouldn't lose most of them. Overall, it not exceptional, but it's a nicely drinkable AIPA.
