FAN CLUB Pale Ale • 5% ABV • 16oz Draft • $7
Fan Club is a modern take on a classic American Pale Ale brewed using
Cascade and Citra hops for zesty notes of citrus fruit with a touch of soft
floral character. Fan Club has a soft malt profile that complements the
assertive hop character.

Love City Brewing Co. "Fan Club"
$7 / pint on tap at the brewery on 23 May 2026
Look: A slightly hazy deep-golden body is capped by a finger's width of white foam that holds well and leaves some decent lacing behind.
Smell: The aroma is citrusy and floral over a bready malt base. It's clean and welcoming.
Taste: It's a little more citrusy than the aroma suggests with resinous and orange/tangerine-like Citra hops taking the reins. The malt is bready and just lightly caramelish, and a median bitterness of around 30-35 IBUs balances it and leads to a dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with a standard carbonation level.
Overall: While not as refined and polished as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, the beer that created the style, the punch from the Citra hops takes it a step beyond. I have no doubt that it will be passed over by many drinkers because it's not an IPA, but that would be a mistake as it still delivers.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
