1st review of this beer on BA. Had it in November 2019 at the source.
Has a dark golden colored appearance, standard 1/2" white head, good retention, clarity. Big Mosaic dry hop push. The requisite papaya, guava, weed humid jungle kind of nose on it, typical of Mosaic.
Taste is good, the Idaho 7 pushes some more familiar C hop type of grapefruit and tree bitterness on top of the tropical fruit lushness provided by the dank Mosaic post boil hops. Yeast is neutral. Has a flaked oat body that works well with standard two row and pilsner malt, alongside Idaho 7 bitterness, you get a top notch body that is the best of both worlds in terms of a west coast bitterness and a hazy pillow softness coming together.
Its another very solid winner from Moksa. Only real downside is their stuff isn't really available outside the brewery. I like to buy my beer at the grocery store, or liquor store, getting off I80 to go into Rocklin proper ain't my jam, but this beer is.
