Drank this in June 2019.
Pours a moderately cloudy kinda bright end yellow with 1/2" white head. Big drop of Galaxy hops provides the usual sweet pineapple notes in the nose. The ratio of Galaxy to Simcoe in the nose is like 95/5. But if you look, you can find some of that bittering hop in the nose.
Taste, Galaxy still pushing the majority of the flavor weight here, but Simcoe reaches up as the bittering hop to kick down mostly grapefruit rind, but also a similar pine note alongside the Galaxy's pineapple. We're talking about that ratio dropping to like 60/40 taste and mouth feel wise. You also should file this under "damn that is entirely too crushable to be 10.5% abv". Its like a one beer buzz in a can. The bitterness is enough to keep it from feeling too sawft, but it doesn't really burn, good Goldilocks zone with the Simcoe usage.
I'm usually reluctant to pay more than $4 a can, and here it was more than $20 a four pack (22 or 24 can't recall) when you have the efficiency of these (my can says 10.5% not 9.9) I can actually say I would spring again for it.

Sweet, pineapple, tropical hoppy, and slightly dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a pineapple sweetness and grapefruit citrus bitterness on the swallow. This morphs into some overripe pineapple notes and faint grapefruit booziness as it warms. This has nice depth and a soft mouthfeel...and I think this will be much better after sometime to settle in! Good!
