For a stout I'm really floored by the abundant strawberry aroma coming off of this. It really nails that Neapolitan ice cream sort of character in that regard, with hints of vanilla. Yet a smell that's kind of like cream cheese or even cheesecake pervasively comes off as a little odd.
Taste adds more chocolate to the mix, but it's a little sharp and boozy. The medium-thin body has a soft but firm froth that fills it out. The strawberry is a little dank on the palate, and spicy in a way, like softened, overripe fruit.
