Moksa has some nice Nelson beers. This is one of them. 1st review of this beer on BA (2 years later). Step up your game reviewers.
Pours a hazy yellow out of the can. 3/4" white head, good retention. There is that dank hippie weed armpit Nelson note to the aroma. Amarillo kicks down some of the citrus and hay note.
Taste was really nice, more of that Nelson dank humidity, but without much bitterness or bite to it. Light weed notes, insert tropical fruit reference(s) here. Comet has a well placed bitterness that fits in well with the other hops as well as the creamy flaked body. Its a real easy beer to enjoy. I don't think I've ever had these 3 hops together, so this is not only enjoyable to drink, but its also a tad unique.
Was also impressed, a can of this got lost in the back of one of the refrigerators for a few months, still tasted like a champ after the 100 day mark. Sure, cost is up there compared to some real good beers you can get at the supermarket, but this is one of those near $5 a can beers that I would repeat purchase on every now and then.
