I think this was a rando can picked up in Truckee. Cracked while grilling in the middle of Summer 2022 into that chemistry pint glass.
Pours hazy yellow leaning into a light amber color. 1" full of head, good retention. As far as hazy ipas go (incorrect listing here) this one is relatively attractive. Big fish small pond I guess. Aroma ticks the Strata and Citra boxes, orange, strawberry, weed, light fuzzy stone fruit note. Not really anything to speak of taste wise regarding the malt bill, neither barley, oat nor wheat really make much of an impact here.
Why no impact? Well, the mouth feel feels like the midway point between west coast and hazy ipa. Now, to say "no" impact is in regards to taste, in the mouth feel, there is that moderate bitterness regarding the middle ground. I mean, this was 8% and it drank easier than that, so there was some malt bill utilitarianism, but just not in the taste profile really. Its a good beer from Moksa.

Editing my original review since they have changed hop profile from Citra and Idaho 7 to Citra and Strata! Keeping original review below...
Sweet, subdued citrus, tropical hoppy, and dank aromatics on this one! So glad they changed hop profile and swapped out Idaho 7 for Strata! Taste follows well with an orange citrus, dank bitter bite. It has decent depth and feel, it is just a little on the thin side. This is good!
Original Review (5/3/2019) 4.01: Classic tropical hoppy nose on this one. The taste follows with smooth finish. Nothing really stood out as far as the wow factor. It feels like hybrid between hazy and West coast style. Good and drinkable, though.
