Poured from the bottle into a snifter glass. Bottle is a flat black with orange wax (not sure it's really wax - seems very rubbery). Pours dark, little head, nice lacing around the glass. Smell is a bit off-putting - very boozy - don't really smell the adjuncts at all. Taste is very nice! The maple and vanilla seem to meld together as one singular flavor - neither one dominant - like a maple dipped marshmallow! Mouthfeel is right there - rich and smooth.
This is the first barrel-aged stout that Moksa has released in bottles - and I hope they keep them coming. This one is a knockout for me!
