Had on-tap at New Glory Eatery in Rocklin, CA
Appearance - Served up 5oz into a snifter, pitch black with cola brown edging. Near barren surface with a thin ring of suds on the outer edge. Lacing consists of small spots.
Smell - Fudgy chocolate and vanilla sweetness. About it.
Taste - Follows the nose. Deep, deep chocolatey goodness with lesser vanilla and mallowy sweetness. Unfortunately there's not much else here, but what is here is nice.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with low carbonation. Stupid creamy and smooth. No heat in the finish, even at 15.1%. Impressive.
Overall - I like this, but its a bit simplistic in the flavor profile for my tastes. Awesome mouthfeel though. Goes down smooth like a hot knife through butter.
