Alright you know what time it is, time for yet another first review ever at this Next Glass owned database. Respect Next Glass! Pours a darker honey like color indicative of a triple ipa. 1/4" white head recedes. But good clarity. Aroma does the orange citrus thing in a major way. One dimensional, but significant. Citra hop for sure.
Taste gave an introduction to the Simcoe hop giving a drier rind impact to the citrus flesh feel of the other hop. The body isn't heavy, its pretty nimble while having a barleywine like strength. It isn't dry, but its about the lightest body for a triple you're likely to encounter outside of legends like Pliny the Younger. It does have a little bit of hop burn and certainly the abv contributes to that feeling as well.
Its one of those beers I like better when I have a sinus infection or allergy problems. You lose that taste of alcohol.
