Gooey Chew base beer is an English barleywine that was brewed specifically for barrels, but after filling the oak we had enough left over to play around with. We took this base beer and recirculated it through .5 lbs per gallon of raw coconut as well as a coffee blend of Indonesian, Vietnamese and Filipino beans roasted by Mostra Coffee. Heavy aroma notes of toffee and coffee are followed by a rich, sweet and decadent flavor profile that tastes sort of like a coconut tiramisu.
