Bottle from set at BW share. Mahogany pour, small beige head recedes. Bourbon is first on the nose, malty, sweet, wine, raisins and fig. Taste is malty and boozy, dried fruit, caramel. Viscous pour, slick

Sweet caramel malty, hint of vinous port wine, and hint of bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet port, toffee malty, hint of dark fruit, and bourbon barrel finish. Damn! This is outstanding! This is not as viscous as expected, but it's a great sipper and hits all the notes of a great barleywine!
