Hoppy Kolsch with Cashmere hops
Which river is this for you ask? Any river really. We just thought it would be cool to package a lighter beer that people can bring close to a moving body of water.

The King of the River has to do a beer review for a beer called River Kolsch. Damn right it was consumed on the river.
Pours the quintessential golden beer color, replete with ample clarity and a 1/2" white head. If you have any gripes with this beer, I can't really fathom how appearance would be one of them. The aroma was kolsch like, light lemon lime like influence of the yeast I think, perhaps there is some hops giving that vibe.
The taste fits a kolsch, its light in the malt bill, its pushy in the yeast department, and the Crystal hops seem that Saaz like family impact with some almost neomexicanus lemon lime like whirling around. Its a good match for the kolsch style. No umulats. The mouthfeel is light and spritzy, further bouyed by the carbonation. This fits the beer to drink near water bill. I guess the commercial tug job says its hopping is elevated, but I guess I'm just used to the California hop rates at this point, seemed traditional to me (shrugs shoulder, i'm just a chill guy). I do like how the parent company lists Crystal hops but this outlier place has Cashmere. Big, if true.

Nice river/lake beer. Nose is herbal and floral. Taste dominated by lemon and lime, with moderate bitterness on the finish that drys the palate. Light and crisp mouthfeel with medium-high carbonation. I'll defintely grab again.
