Light yellow beige hazy boi pour into that 1900 art pint glass with ol' Colt Cabana microbrawler flexing in the front. Larger, sparser bubbles form a 1/2" ring. Southern Cross hops, not too familiar.
Even though this beer was added to this Next Glass database almost five years ago, I am the first to write a review for it here at this Next Glass owned website. Respect Next Glass!
Aroma has a pine, lemon, lime thing going through a down under lens. Clearly proprietary hopped beyond the feel of pine. Taste is interesting because despite the pine, it doesn't have the high beta acid aspect that keeps that bitterness in the mouthfeel lingering. Double it up with the hazy ipa flaked wheat/rolled oats notion, and you can see how the end product worked out the way it did (low bitterness).
So right there, a good lime and pine presence, but with a bitterness that can't be baked into the cake. Hides the alcohol and the bitterness very well.
