Nearly clear amber with frothy and sticky foam in the big Stout glass. Spritzy and malty mouthfeel. Quite fragrant with peach and honeydew melon. Tastes of apricot with canned peaches and a hot finish. Starts sweet, then gets quite acidic and a surprising bitterness emerges.
These New Zealand hop concoctions are often my favorites but this one is somehow on the harsh side, though the aromatics are inviting. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine Y Vine in San Diego. Dated 12/09/21 so can't fault the freshness.
