Just added the beer to the database and now doing a review bc I'm not some total sociopath.
Pours a, I dunno about hazy, but you know, not clear, closer to what I call cloudy. Didn't really drink like a lot of hazies do, but we'll get back to that. Yellow pour color, 1/3" white head, good retention. The aroma is dare I say, kind of unique, big usual dose of dry hopping, Galaxy and Citra, but the grape must stuff really gets the wine notes popping here.
The taste is much the same, you get a little combo of tropical fruit guava, jackfruit and pineapple, but there is a white/green grape aspect as big as all the tropical notes combined. Throw in a little bit of orange too. At 7.3%, this beer drinks like it, no more, no less. Bitterness at a level above most hazies, but it didn't have that flaked oat/wheat smooth/watery-ness to it. Seemed closer to all barley. I'd guess around 55ibu.
I liked the beer and thought it was a good combo of unique + enjoyable. Label design kinda uninspiring but its a good beer and that is more important.
