Had this as part of the brewer's flight towards the end of summer '21. Just added the beer to the database and did a review because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours a hazy/cloudy yellow with a thin 1/6" white head. The aroma had a big time Galaxy overripe/almost rotting pineapple angle. I mean, they said Chan dug Galaxy hops. They're here and big and ripe.
The taste improves on mostly the pineapple Galaxy thing and supplements it with a hearty amount of Citra providing the lightly contrasting orange and tangerine upside all those pineapple notes. Its quite tasty and well done. Simcoe rolls in giving it all a nice crisp backdrop, and its the good Simcoe (not to mention Cascade) that bring some pine to balance the pineapple. Sure grapefruit rind too. Has more of a green emerald aspect to it than some Cascade and SImcoe iterations. Good crisp body despite the cloudy appearance. Can it up dudes!
