16oz. Waxed and capped bottle into a Tree House teku.
Pours near flat and a super dark amber. No head, no lace, huge, oily legs that never fade. Nose is booze, brown sugar, caramel, molasses, and tobacco. Signature English Barleywine aroma. Super pungent. Beer opens purple grapes, plum gummy, brown sugar, and caramel. Oak, anise, and sweet soy sauce in the middle. Tobacco, barrel, more caramel, and breakfast syrup in the finish. Sticky sweet aftertaste. Body is full with almost no carbonation. Oily and slick on the palate and goes down boozy, messy. Long, lingering aftertaste.
This one's a bit basic but the basic here is done extremely well.

Sweet brown sugar, caramel-toffee, dark fruits, and prominent barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with some sweet molasses/caramel notes upfront...and then a dark fruity, bourbon barrel finish. As it warms, some hoppy bitterness starts to peek out which interferes just a bit with the smooth finish. This is an outstanding Barleywine! To be on par with Singularity THH15 or the Final Form series though, it needed to be a little more balanced and a touch more viscous on the palate IMO.

Poured on tap at Windsor in Anaheim. Pours dark brown with minimal light brown head. The nose is rich toffee, maple, vanilla, bourbon, plums, and booze. The taste is incredible and follows the nose. Big notes of toffee, bourbon, chocolate, molasses, figs, raisins, and vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and it's pretty boozy. Overall, an amazing barleywine.
