Soulful Memories is a beer made in memory of Sith Souliyonh, the Father of Moksa Brewing Owner, Nu Boonkham. Working together with Nu, we tasted through all the barrels that were potentially ready to be packaged and looked for the best possible barrel to showcase unblended and non treated. The barrel selected contained a Honey Stout base and was aged in a 15 year old George T Stagg barrel for 22 months. Based on the tasting, this barrel would normally be destined to be one of the best Singularity Series bottles to date, but we pulled it aside to create a unique bottle and label to remember a very important person within our Moksa family.

Sweet chocolate malty, dark chocolate roasty, and prominent bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a very smooth, chocolate bitter, and vanilla bourbon barrel finish. As it warms, that bourbon barrel heat starts to make itself known more. This is barrel forward and delicious...good stuff!
