Extravagance is our second non BA beer for our 2020-2021 Advocator program. This exclusive Imperial Stout has been treated with heavy amounts of Costa Rican and Tanzanian vanilla beans, roasted peanuts and bananas to simulate an ice cream sundae sprinkled with peanuts and drizzled with chocolate syrup.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like crunchy peanut butter, caramel, milk chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee.
The banana on this one is very, very subtle – just a little bit of fleshy sweetness. There’s a lot more of the peanut character here – and it doesn’t get too sweet or cloyingly overwhelming. There’s a good background roast character that bottoms out any sweetness, along with a touch of caramel, coffee, and lots of not too sweet milk chocolate.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and really drinkable, with basically no booziness.
As non BA adjunct stouts go, this is decently impressive.
