Right on, feels like its been a hot minute since I reviewed a beer I really dug (i.e. well above 4/5). This is one of them.
Pours in the hazy ipa style, its ugly, but it makes a sizeable 1" head and has good retention, especially for all the hops in this one. The aroma is killer, Nelson seems to make the heaviest push, notes of dank diesel, white grape, weed, tangerine, pineapple flow in heavy proportion here. 7.7lbs per barrel, you better believe it, damn that's heavy.
Taste thankfully follows the nose, there is a garlic weed parmesan pineapple white grape grapefruit orange guava diesel lifestyle that permeates the entire taste department. Malt bill out of the way, but smoothing things out to a middle of the road level where it isn't all trubby goop hazy ipa. Hides the alcohol really well, this thing is a blast to drink the entire time. No joke, this might be my favorite Moksa beer, and there are so many of them I really dig.
I dig their Sacramento Kings inspired offerings.

Sweet, white wine grape, tropical hoppy, and an orange-grapefruit citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a slightly malty, tropical hoppy, and grapefruit citrus bitter finish. This is well done and a nice use of a great hop profile! It just finishes just a little thin and could use a little more hop expression from these hop heavyweights. Enjoyable and crushable...good stuff!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
