English Barlewwine aged 19 months in a single Weller Full Proof 7-year barrel.

Almost two years ago, Holy Water in San Francisco loaned us the barrel from their Weller Full Proof store pick, "Tomorrow's Dream", which we promptly filled with an extra-large English-style barleywine. After 19 months of aging, we've packaged it as a single-barrel release, with no adjuncts or additions.

Notes of brownie-like chocolate and hard toffee up front, with a hint of warming spices and a long, smooth bourbon-forward finish.

Sweet chocolate covered raisins, caramel and toffee bits, and a balanced bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with some sweet toffee and dark fruity notes upfront...and then a smooth bourbon barrel heat finish. This was not the prettiest pour, but it sure tastes fantastic!
