Alright let's crank out the first review, ever, (ever!) here at this Next Glass database; Respect Next Glass, do the thing.
Pours bright yellow/golden in an old Super Bowl pint glass in front of one of those Colt Cabana microbrawlers. 1/2" white head. Decent clarity. True to the commercial tug job, these Cascade hops hit different. Its not just grapefruit/pine, their is an additional layer or two to them. Its like Riwaka and Cascade had a baby if you will, and Simcoe gave a gift or something. More dank icyness I guess.
The taste truly is a blend of old and new school. Nice light, easy two row maybe even pilsner malt for a body, but a duality of man like via the Cascade hop giving such a varied experience compared to just having the OG. Its a crisp mouthfeel and an enjoyable taste throughout. Don't sleep on these New Zealand Cascade hops. They significantly cut down on the pine & rind of the old school, but there's still plenty of lime-y dankness of the new school. Will seek out.
