Vanilla...and lots of it! This beer started with a much thicker and richer base than typical for a non-barrel aged stout, to give all that vanilla something to stand against. It was then infused with ten pounds of vanilla beans of five different origins, giving it an incredibly full, creamy profile.

Subdued milk chocolate and a prominent, floral vanilla nose on this one! Taste follows with a soft, chocolate and creamy vanilla finish. While the soft mouthfeel definitely accentuates the big vanilla notes here, a touch of floral bitterness starts to appear on the backend as it warms IMO. Still enjoyable!
