Downtown location with street diagonal parking. Front is mostly windows with two windowed garage doors. Front outdoor patio tucked in a bit from the sidewalk. Interior space has a high black painted sheet metal ceiling, beige painted walls, and a concrete floor. L-shaped bar with a laminated wood top and wood stools with foot rests. Other seating at low and high tables. Two TVs above the bar. Eighteen taps with a standard style selection. Coolers has cans to go. View through back windows of the brewing equipment. Efficient and friendly staff. On site kitchen offers apps, sandwiches, and flatbread. Downtown spot for craft and quick bites.

 

The brewery was established in 2017, and as cbcrunch stated, opened the taproom during the beginning of 2018. Bright with tall ceiling, with really good looking, wavy patterned, various shades of metallic tan through dark brown, acrylic, bar counter. The beers are good and they have some German styles that are not frequently seen these days at American micro breweries, such as a good maibock. Their top beer has a logo of a smiling green brontosaurus with a few pink, helium balloons tied around it's waist. The beer is a double IPA, named Adventurepants!, and is truly first rate.

 

 

 

 

 

Spearfish Brewery opened it's doors just a week ago. My wife and I showed up at about 4 PM on a Friday night and it was packed. Standing room only, but service was prompt and beer was very good. I had just one, but everyone I talked to really liked what they were drinking. They already have 10 brewed and on tap, along with a couple sparking waters and kombucha. Looking forward to returning.
