Pours an effervescent chestnut/ Mahogony color with a pinky of caramel colored head. Not much head retention or lacing
S: Some smokeyness, roasty malts, nose is pretty constrained
T: Coffee, smokyness, a little carob & slight booze bite up front, along with dryness, a little cocoa & vanilla sneaking as well. Fairly dry & roasty as this beer warms up, some caramel & plenty of smokeyness, plus a little Chicory, plus more cocoa & vanilla. Finishes roasty, dry with woody hops, cocoa, vanilla & campfire & just a kiss of caramel
MF: Chewy with pretty firm carbonation, fairly warming
Solid effort, if you like you IMP Stouts roasty & smokey, this for you. Considerable heft, took me a bit to finish this 500 mL? offering. Much to like here

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one half inch head. Taste is big mocha, cream, milk chocolate and coffee. Heavy bodied, roasty, slightly sweet, low carbonation. This is right up there with Tribus' best stouts. Layer upon layer of flavor with the coffee being present but never overpowering. Wow is this a good beer.
