12 ounce can.
Pours a bright uniform hazy pale orange golden with finger of short lived off white head.
Aroma is a little faint with fruity notes of citrus, pineapple, peach, some piney hoppiness.
Tastes of pine, citrus, peach, slightly tropical - moderately resinous and a touch of earthy dankness. Slightly bittersweet at the finish without any bitter harshness.
Creamy smooth medium full mouthfeel, tame carbonation with slightly sticky bitter sweetness and resinous hoppy end.

Poured from a howler from Alberta Beer Exchange.

Packaged on Apr 3/20 so a pretty fresh pour.

Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot gold with three fingers of frothy white head that leaves some puffy lace on the glass.

Smell - piney, citrus and tropical hops, pine resin, peach, pineapple, apricot, citrus and grapefruit peel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.

Taste - piney, citrus and tropical hops upfront. The pine resin, peach, pineapple, apricot, and citrus and grapefruit peel shine through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.

Overall - A pleasant and dangerously sessionable brew from the folks at Snake Lake. A nice treat to find at Alberta Beer Exchange here in Cowtown!

355ml can - an NEDIPA, which now seems kinda old-school, in terms of the base style's chameleon-esque tendencies. Brewed in honour of their first anniversary as a going concern.

This beer pours a near-opaque, medium apricot yellow colour, with four fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves a decent band of frilly lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.

It smells of dank pine resin, gritty and grainy cereal malt, some muddled domestic citrus peel, a small stoney flintiness, and more leafy, weedy, and musky floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, orange and lemon rind, a faint tropical fruitiness, some damp minerality, and more leafy, herbal, and resinous piney hoppiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its palate-coddling frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a swell time at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the frooty essences jostling with the lingering Alberta malt.

Overall - this comes across as a suitable enough example of what they say it's supposed to be, and easy to put back, despite the extra 3 points of the ol' ABV. And I can assure you, I am still (for the time being, at least), fully clad.
