473ml can poured into tulip.
Pours a clear straw yellow with half a finger of bone white head that leaves clouds of sudsy lace as it recedes.
Smells of bready pale malt, apple chips, lemon zest, wet stone and freshly mowed lawn.
Tastes of white bread, apple skin, more zesty citrus, flinty water and more grassy hop bitters.
Feels light and perky. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.
Verdict: Highly recommended. Still plenty of warm days left to enjoy a nice, locally-brewed kolsch like this.
