On tap at the Tide & Boar: Deep veiled and cloudy dark golden color with low activity. Thick creamy light beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5 - 10 minutes, with strong leg and decent construct. Flavors of roasted barley, rye, apples, ginger, nutmeg, lemon, berries, light wild yeast, and toffee. Slick and smooth medium body with a soft crisp. Medium to strong strength finish, thick bitter malts with leafy hops, fruity esters and some red ales spices. Coarse and not very accessible, though strangely well refreshing. Mellows down as it warms. A bold but interesting brew. Overall good quality craft.
