Very dark gold with a large, retentive white head. The black and deep amber tones that ran throughout the bar, along with the new, very rich lighting, really brought out he prettiest parts of the beer.
Smelled like weeds, very light hops. For a cream ale, they nailed it. Wonderfully done adjunct, flowers, potpurri and freshness, without any icky nodes of sourness or metal.
Tastes very much like it smells only with a fantastic lightly vanilla creamy aftertaste. Like a Little King, only fresher and livlier.
Pretty much every thing you could expect out of this limited style. Very good.

(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer had a warm red crystal clear body with a thin white head that last as a ring around the rim. There was a good carbonation of bubbles gliding to the surface. I was surprised to see such a dark color in a cream ale.
S- This beer has a very smooth light hint of toasted malt with some pale malt hints that came through as it warmed. No real note of hops even when it had warmed a bit.
T- This beer has a smooth nice toasted malt flavor that is balanced by a soft bitter hop finish. There wasn't much flavor to the hops except for a green almost herbal note. There was a tartness to the malt that came through strong as it warmed and I think it was a bit of an off flavor.
M- This beer has a medium body with a big fizzy finish that might be where it gets most of its body.
D- This beer had a good balance but the tartness was a bit out of place. It was trying to infuse a cream ale with a Irish Red and I don't really get that from this beer.
