(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer has a murky brown body with a tan mass of large bubbles sitting on the surface. There is a gentle carbonation but the bubbles can only be seen as they stick to the side of the glass.
S- The hint of brown malt is blended and not a fresh malt aroma. It has a soft note of cola in the background but this is also very soft.
T- This beer has a light brown malt taste with nougat and a chalky hint to it. There is a bright tartness that comes through and is much stronger than the malt flavors. The finish of the beer is a pretty clean with no hop or malt flavors.
M- This beer has a light mouthfeel with a fizz finish. The fizz overpowers the watery texture in the middle of each sip.
D- There is really no depth or even flavor to this beer. The brown malt notes are not toasted or sweet just bland and very soft. The description of this beer on the menu made it live up to its name but the beer fell far short of anything close.
