(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer has a warm dense brown body with a thin creamy tan head that fades pretty quickly. The body is a bit too dense to see any carbonation except for the random bubble that pops at the surface.
S- The soft brown malt aroma has hints of caramel and white sugar with out the sweetness to it. There is no smell of coffee at all.
T- This beer has a big buttery taste with a hint of milk chocolate without the sweetness to it. The notes of brown malt and caramel malt are soft in the background. There is a soft flavor of coffee flavor that comes through on the tongue after each sip. A nougat flavor comes through in the finish before the coffee note and is enhanced by the mouthfeel. There is a soft tartness that is bright like a cherry tartness without the actual cherry flavor.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel that has a slight creamy texture to it with a tiny fizz in the finish.
D- This is an interesting beer that has lots of things going on but none of them work together and they are all too soft. I like butter so that didnt bother me but the rest of the flavors were all over the place.
