(Served in a snifter)
A- This beer has a warm dense caramel brown body with a thick creamy light tan head that last a good bit. There are some big bubbles stuck to the glass but it is a bit too dense to see any carbonation in the body.
S- This beer has a big juicy pine resin note with a slight earthy quality and some toasted malt notes in the background. As this beer warms there is a slight musty basement smell that adds a nice character to the hops.
T- This beer has a big green pine hops flavor with a spicy hops note. This is followed by a light toasted note wit a soft white sugar note and hint of wet wood. The finish is a nice bitter bite with a green hop flavor that hangs on after the finish.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a watery texture but finishes with a soft alcohol warmth to enhance the hops.
D- This beer has some nice full flavored hops but not as much bitterness as I was expecting. It finishes smooth and clean with the alcohol and hops hanging on.
