Originally brewed with those pesky punks at BrewDog Leeds to create a 5th birthday beer for what is now a Leeds institution of a bar! We added masses of blueberries into an already decadent milk stout and came up with this!

Frederiksberg 11/8 2021. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H. C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Stable and creamy. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet cake-like odor mingling with sweet berries. Sweet forest berries. Blackberries and blueberries. Fruit pies peeking in. Chocolate and caramel. Hints of brown sugar. A bit of salty licorice creeping in.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, viscous, soft, fat, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Finds a fine balance between being cake-like and still being a Stout. And I love the Sinead O’Connor pun.

Brown color with brownish head. Aroma has blueberries, chocolate and brownies. Taste is fruity with berry notes, dark chocolate and some hop bitterness on the finish. Medium minus body with medium carbonation. Quite well put together.
