Nice copper color with a thick beige head with decent retention.
Aroma with notes of caramel, grapes and mild Maillard product.
Flavor with notes of toasted malts, Maillard product, spices, dark fruits and refreshing hop citrusy that helps to balance its malt. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Balanced bock with its primal notes and a refreshing hop. This was a positive surprise given a couple of their other beers were disappointing to me in the past. This is their best offering.
