Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It's an attractive hazy, honey-orange color with a modest, bright white cap and thick lacing inside the glass. It has a fruity, aromatic smell, including tangerine/orange, grapefruit, berry, and pine needles. The taste opens with tart lemon and grapefruit, over a base of dry wheat cracker. At mid-sip there are sweeter tastes of red berry, pineapple, and a hint of tropical fruit. There is also a hint of pine sap. There is a good deal of hop bitterness (70 IBU). This ale has a lite, crisp feel with fairly lively carbonation, and it drinks easily at 6.5% ABV. Overall, 447' is tasty and thirst quenching. It would be great on a hot summer's day.
