Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It is a hazy, honey-orange color with a half finger cap of creamy, bright white foam and a thick film of lacing. The smell includes orange/tangerine and a whiff of spice. The taste is largely defined by the grist, which includes Pilsner malt, white wheat, and spelt. It opens dry and crackery. While that is balanced by tangy orange zest, it is no fruit bomb. In fact, the use of Chinook hops in the boil and in dry hopping creates strong bitterness. This ale is well-bodied for its 6% ABV. Overall, don't be fooled by the name. This ale is well-balanced. It is a pleasure to drink.
