Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It is dark ruby-cola in color and it sports a half finger of creamy, light khaki head and modest lacing. Its smell includes roasted malt, freshly-brewed coffee, and maple syrup. The taste follows with acidic coffee, roasted nuts, and maple syrup. The maple is handled deftly; it is not overly sweet. I wish the base Baltic Porter was more robust and included some dark fruit notes. Nonetheless, it is a tasty brew. Considering the modest 6% ABV, this Porter is full-bodied and pleasantly creamy. Overall, it is well-conceived and executed.
