This is a special, one-off, brewed once only, beer by several different Cleveland/greater northeast Ohio area breweries for the kickoff of Cleveland Beer Week. This one was brewed by Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, Collison Bend Brewing Company, Fat Heads, and Willoughby Brewing Company. e. Had this on-tap the opening night of Cleveland Beer Week about 23 days ago, but got a growler of this yesterday at a Heinen's grocery store. Poured into one of my pilsener glasses, this beer is pours a very clear, light to medium golden color with a nice white head that's about 1/3/1/2 inch thick when first poured. Settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a big cluster swirl of a film layer of foam on the beer's surface. Aromas of some biscuity malts and what seems like some wheat, along with some floral, earthy hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with some biscuity, slightly grassy and grainy, malts upfront with what tastes like some wheat that's rounded out with some floral, earthy hops. Not the most complex flavor profile to be sure, but quite enjoyable indeed. Has a crisp, yet also smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and just slightly dry after taste. A ver nice beer here overall.
