A: Pours an opaque yet still clear thick viscous jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown + dark chestnut brown + caramel colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy very dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 85% of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of sweet milk chocolate + vanilla + toasted coconut + pecans over the top of moderate aromas of roasted + chocolate + caramel malts with a moderate to heavy amount of caramel + lactose sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted + chocolate + caramel malts with a moderate to heavy amount of caramel + lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of sweet milk chocolate + vanilla + toasted coconut + pecans. Minimal amounts of roasty bitterness and moderate to heavy lingering sweet chocolate + vanilla flavors.
M: Full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and creamy.
O: Drinks pretty easily considering that this is a big sweet beer with a very pleasant smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Really nice flavors and aromas from the chocolate + coconut + pecan + vanilla without being cloyingly sweet. Very enjoyable for dessert but definitely a slow sipper.

There are so many wonderful things going on with this one. It is super rich and creamy. The coconut is subtle, more of an aftertaste than anything, but definitely there. I love how dark and creamy it looks, and the aroma is quite pleasant. The feel is lightly carbonated and creamy. And possibly the best part is exhaling through my mouth after a good-sized sip.
