What an interesting beer! This is a Cinnamin Roll Sour Pastry Stout with cinnamon, vanilla bean and lactose. Pours dark, dark brown with a moderate head of foam. The nose detects cinnamon primarily with faint vanilla present. Taste reveals strong cinnamon, definite vanilla with a perfectly balanced sour and sweet taste. There is not a lot of carbonation and sweetness prevails in the lingering taste. This is hands down the most unique beer I've sampled this year (2021) and should be considered a must for any pastry stout fan.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short light tan colored head that left some lacing down the sides and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chocolate are present in the nose along with notes of cinnamon.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of vanilla and lactose to round things out.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I would have expected this beer to be fuller in body considering its strength but it is very easy to drink.
Serving type: can
