Milkshake Double Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Barbarian Brewing in Boise, ID.. Brewed with barley, toasted rice, oats and lactose. Dryhopped with Motueka and Citra at nearly 6lbs per barrel. We mixed it up and rolled with our fruiting method for our "Sweets" series on this version which really gives that extra mango lassi flavor and texture. Fruited with over 2,000lbs of Alphonso Mango and conditioned on heaps of Tahitian Vanilla Bean and a dash of freshly ground cardamom.

Pours close to what you would expect of a mango lassi: thick, orangey IPA with fizzy carbonation. Aroma is mango with orange overtones. Taste is bright, sharp and perky with mango being the predominant profile. This is an easily quaffed brew and before long, you will find this offering gone from your glass.

Looks like mango (orange)juice with a quickly disappearing head. Wow, scent is a mix of citric hops and strong mango which is really nice. Flavor leans sweet and mango fruity but certainly retains an ever so slight bitter finish that is IPA like. Different than other milkshake IPA’s I’ve had before. Really thick feel with slight heat on this baby. Decent.

16oz can from Tavour. Looks like orange juice, orange foamy head subsides, leaving a roiling surface, continuously churning. Aroma is mango, very tropical. Taste also is mango, pure and some, with light, sweet milky notes. Extremely thick and creamy. Best beer to drink when the temperature hits 101? This one!

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Fordham University shaker pint; canned 04/13/21, code STOP, DROP.
A: Pours a truly opaque, dark orange (looks like mango juice) color with a nearly one finger, short lived head, but no retention or lacing.
S: Subtly tart to the nose, but pleasantly so. Aromas exclusively fruity (mango, mango, clementine and navel orange).
T: Semisweet more than sweet. Flavors of mango >> orange with a subtle huskiness consistent with cardamom. Not remotely bitter.
M: Medium bodied with short live effervescence. Seemed pulpy.
O: This is a Fruit Beer, and a strong one, whether or not the label says Milkshake IPA. It is absolutely divine. I want more.
