16 oz. can dated 3/21/12.
Pours a golden straw haze. No particulates. Three fingers fine cream head. Full lacing curtains and cap.
Strong pineapple, grapefruit pith, pepper aromas.
Rich orange, mango, pineapple, pale malt flavors.
Slick smoothness from the oats, abundant carbonation, full fruit flavors.
To me, a remarkable DIPA.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy straw colored pour, creamy head, rings of lacing. Grassy, citrus aroma. Taste features grapefruit peel, meadow, light floral. The oat whip provides a creamy texture. Smooth.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color and has hints of whitish hues. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that never completely faded away and left lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pear and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of spiciness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The use of oats in this beer lend a nice smooth mouthfeel and make it lighter in body compared to what I would have expected for a beer of this strength.
Serving type: can
