wow this is so cool! shocked by the gorgeous color of this, stained glass purple, like straight up purple drank, sizzurp looking, all clear and vibrant, looks like pea shoots or pea flower or whatever other purple beers in the past have used, its that almost unnatural color, bur so pretty under the almost pure white head, so pretty in a pils glass. its floral in the aroma too, i wonder if this color is all from rice because although it is slightly floral to me, its decidedly not fruity, and i think a lot of what i am getting is from hops, which arent purple obviously. hints of jasmine and white tea in here, summery and delicate, pils malt based it seems, but i get some sweetness too and less bready european malt character than a more classic pils type, generally speaking. the flavor is similar, a tad sweet, a little bit of blossoming flower thing, perhaps some unique honey, definitely ideal for spring, and i can appreciate some lager yeast character in here too which really keeps it beery. soft feel, the starch of the rice can be felt here, and i think i feel more rice than i taste, but its quite apparently unique rice, even if just for this color, but there is a lot of nuance here, its unique in that it doesnt taste like anything even really all that familiar, but its not challenging or weird either. really impressive stuff, wish i had a lot more of it, this is among my favorite mountains walking beers to date!
