Capstan Bar Brewing Company

Came on a Friday and it was packed (in a Covid safe way). They had music bingo so that was a lot of fun and they had a food truck as well. The service was great as well even with a full house. I never felt like I had to wait long for a beer. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice. I had the Raspberry Hibiscus Kolsh which was very juicy! I was surprised because it tastes like it should be a sour, with the fruitiness of it, but it’s not. I hope they come out with a summer wheat beer because I tend to like those a lot more.

 

This place is a little out of the way in what right now appears to be an industrial mall off of the university - that's not a knock but you will have to go out of your way to find place. Went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and they had a few people, laid back, good/friendly/talkative service, great music (if you like what is deemed classic rock) and the beer selection, while limited to their own beers, has some variety of styles and the beers aren't bad at all.
