16 oz can from Total Wine and more in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a light amber with a white foamy head and lacing. Very faint grapefruit aroma. Some pale malts are also detected. The flavors are muted, mostly citrus, grapefruit, orange zest. An easy to drink IPA with only mild hop bitterness. The ale has a medium body and soft carbonation.

I don't see a date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body is a medium-light shade of orange which is dull at the bottom but a bit brighter in hue and color towards the top where it comes across as natural squeezed orange juice. It is a hazy beer but fuzzy shadows are visible. There is a very minimal head which is white and fades very fast to a thin ring around the glass and a sparse film. No retention or lacing.
Aroma: There's barely any aroma; it has a very faint scent of dull and nondescript citrus.
Taste: Up front there is a bit of peach and spruce tip flavor that comes through. Near the center of the palate the flavor of alcohol comes through and there is a bit of spruce and lemon. The spruce and lemon character is nice but it's pretty light. Nothing notable at the back of the palate. The aftertaste is a bit of lemon which is pleasant.
Mouthfeel: The body feels light and pleasant with a bright, crisp finish. The body of the beer complements the flavors well. Bitterness is mild.
Overall: The beer has a nice lemon character which works well with the texture and finish of the beer. There is a spruce tip flavor which is also pleasant. The flavors as a whole feel muted and the aroma is mostly nonpresent. It isn't a beer I would recommend or pick up again but if somebody gave me the beer at some kind of gathering I wouldn't have a problem drinking it.

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Brew House - Farmville, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A good, but not great, aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), some tropical fruit (mango), lots of citrus fruit (grapefruit and orange, specifically), and a fair amount of hops (not overdone). This is a solid enough flavor, but it doesn't really grab you. Some of the ingredients need a bit of a boost. Still, it's decently tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Light-bodied.
O: This beer has some bumpy qualities, but it's likable. Worth a look.

Poured a light gold body with minimal head and lace, and the beer has a citric, floral aroma that is light. Smooth, light, mild bitterness, has some grapefruit and tropical fruit sweetness with a clean finish. Easy to drink and enjoyed the smoothness of beer.
