Tasted at the taproom as part of a sampler flight.
L - Pretty, copper color with ruby. Very clear. Nice, light tan head made of tiny, creamy bubbles.
S - Clean malty aromas of raisins, prunes and herbal notes like cloves. Light alcohol note, especially given the high ABV.
T - Good Belgian flavors, with dried fruit and cloves more prominent than in aromas.
F - Light to moderate body, almost too light for style. Moderate carbonation. Low hops bitterness, but not cloyingly sweet. Strong alcohol presence, but not boozy.
O - A very good, clean and drinkable quad. It comes across more like a dubbel, with well-disguised strength.

I don't see any date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body of the beer is a reddish-brown color that looks very dark. Shadows are visible through the glass. There is a short off-white head but it fizzes out pretty fast. No head retention or lacing. The beer isn't much to look at but the color is nice.
Aroma: There is a light malt aroma with some hints of walnut and brown sugar. There is a light herbal hop scent to the beer. As a whole the aromas are pretty faint.
Taste: Nail polish remover and green apple comes through immediately on the tongue. These flavors don't improve while drinking the beer. With each sip the beer makes you want to use a palate cleanser just to get the solventy alcohol flavor off the tongue.
Mouthfeel: It feels light, thin, and the alcohol presence makes the beer unpleasant to drink. The can states that this is "11% ALC. BY VOL" and it doesn't do a good job of hiding it.
Overall: There's not much to say about this beer other than I highly recommend against buying it and that I won't buy it again.
